The course deals with the study of an industry that uses computers, networking, software programming, and other equipment and processes to store, process, retrieve, transmit, and protect information. B.E. (Information Technology) course covers the study of a variety of functions performed by IT engineers; right from installing applications to designing complex COMPUTER NETWORKS and information databases. In short, this course mainly focuses on the study of the use of computers and telecommunications to retrieve, store and transmit information in all its various forms like text, images, sound, multimedia, etc. The B.E. (Information Technology) topics generally cover the study of the three main areas of specialization in Information Technology namely network administration, computer support and programming. The duration of the course is four years and it is career orienting in nature that offers many job scopes for the candidates after its successful completion.
